Douglass High School, 3200 Mt. Olive: "Philosophers Garden: Sympathetic Imagination." The main entrance hall to historic Douglass High School will be enhanced by the unveiling of a large mural designed by artist Tobacco Brown. Ceremony begins Saturday with a parade at 9 a.m. The mural is a project of the UrbanArts Commission and the Memphis City Schools.

Immaculate Conception Cathedral (Marian Hall), 1695 Central Ave.: Immaculate Conception Cathedral School (IC) hosts "Benefit Art Exhibition and Auction" at 6 tonight. Live auction 7 p.m. Suggested donation: $25 (exhibition, refreshments, hors d'oeuvres, and a bid number for auction). Tickets available at the door.
